About
Indie rock singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist Syd Taylor is ready to make her debut as an independent artist. Detroit raised, she’s been destined for music since the day she was born. Syd started writing on guitar and piano at the age of 6 years old. Previously known for her role as lead singer in the twin duo Stereo Jane, she has been performing and writing for the last 17 years.
Summer of 2024 after leaving a label deal with her band, she decided to give herself a chance to write something solely for herself. She is almost done putting the final touches on her first solo album, fully writing and producing it from her apartment in Los Angeles. Her inspiration comes from classic acts like by The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, and Nina Simone. With her modern twist, the songs come together to create a beautiful blend of analog and digital.
